Jackie Williams is a founding member of LA 21, a community development corporation located on Lancaster Avenue in Philadelphia. The organization was established 15 years ago when Janie Blackwell, the council person at the time, approached Jackie and a few other individuals to form a business association to address the challenges faced by the community. With limited resources, they began reaching out to local businesses, conducting surveys, and providing services to support them. Over the years, the organization has thrived and expanded beyond its initial scope, now functioning as a CDC. Jackie and the team at LA 21 are dedicated to building the corridor and providing assistance to both the corridor businesses and small businesses throughout the city of Philadelphia.
